Patricia A. (Robért) Laughman’s practice focuses primarily on construction law and the representation of design professionals, owners, and consultants, as well as clients involved in employment-related disputes. She also has experience and interest in litigation involving environmental issues. Patricia is admitted to practice in the state courts of Washington, New York, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Districts of Washington.
Patricia is a member of the following bar associations: American Bar Association; Washington State Bar Association; King County Bar Association; New York Bar Association; and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Prior to joining Skellenger Bender, Patricia began her practice of law at a firm in New England where she focused on complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, land use, and employment law. While attending Vermont Law School, she clerked for the United States Department of Justice in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Environmental and Natural Resource Division, the Civil Protection Division of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, and gained valuable litigation experience as a student clinician at the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic at Vermont Law School.
