David is a principal in the firm. He is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Washington and Colorado and the United States Tax Court. His past practice includes service as the sole in-house general counsel for a major engineering and consulting company.

David focuses his practice in the areas of corporate affairs and commercial transactions, environmental law, employment law, construction law, real estate law, and general counseling and representation of design and construction firms doing business in the environmental industry. He also represents owners and operators on transactional matters, environmental disputes, and compliance matters. His practice also includes advising health care professionals on business law matters.

David has authored both technical and legal articles for the construction industry and has published or spoken on topics including:

• 'National Environmental Policy Act Issues
• Government Contracting
• Corporate Governance Issues
• Loss Prevention for Design Professionals

David is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, and Colorado Bar Association. He has participated in the American Corporate Counsel Association, the Corporate Law Section of the WSBA, and the Energy and Natural Resources Section of the ABA. He has actively participated as a speaker or committee member in the Association of General Contractors, Association of Firms Practicing in the Geo Sciences, American Consulting Engineers Council, Northwest Environmental Business Council, and Consulting Engineers Council of Washington.
