Hillary Madsen was born and raised in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. After graduating from the University of Washington, she received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 2008. During law school, Hillary externed with the Chief Justice of the Washington State Supreme Court and worked as a legal research clerk for Dr. Marilyn Berger. Hillary has experience in handling general litigation, commercial property disputes, bid protests, and advising clients involved in the construction industry. Hillary was recently appointed to the Amicus Curiae Brief Committee by the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors. Hillary is active in her local community, including past memberships with the National Association of Women in Construction and Professional Women in Building, and current memberships on the Alpha Xi Delta Alumna Association, Seattle University School of Law Recent Alumna Committee, Social Venture Partners of Seattle, and the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington. She looks forward to getting involved with the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Hillary recently completed the Spanish for Lawyers program at Seattle University and also speaks Portuguese. |
